Hi All,
This will be a constantly updated post about Zul'Aman Instance. I am planning to include full Raid strategies, plans, etc in this post as and when I have the details.
For now, please go through the wowwiki page on Zul'Aman at wwwwowwiki.com/Zul%27Aman..
Here are some things we know as of now:
1) Its a 10 man Raid Instance and placed at a difficulty level post Karazhan. This means that we need people who have gone through Karazhan a few times at least before attempting Zul'Aman.
2) Zul'Aman is on a 3 day rest schedule. Means it can be easily farmed once we have nailed the strategies for each Boss. Something like old Zul'Gurub Raid times.
3) Zul'Aman has 6 Bosses in total. The instance will involve players fighting 4 avatars of the forest troll "gods": the bear, eagle, lynx and finally dragonhawk. These gods have been channeled into the bodies of 4 troll warriors. After defeating the 4 gods, players will face off against the witch doctor that called on the gods, and finally against Zul'jin himself. The final troll boss will not only be a powerful foe; he'll also be able to draw upon the ghostly spirits of each of the four liberated animal gods and change his own shape to assume their powers.
4) There are quests to do all these Bosses within a set time, which I think is 20 minutes per Boss. If we mange to complete these timed Boss Kill quests we get additional loot.
5) There will be a new Mount (Bear Mount) and new non combat pet (Mojo the frog), to be had from this instance.
6) Instance is located in Ghostlands, the Blood Elf starting area. alliance will have a flight path there connected to EPL flight path.
Regarding the time when we should start doing this instance, I will first discuss with all the Raid Leaders/Officers and then make an announcement. But I am hoping we can start attempting Zul'Aman by next weekend (23rd November).
I request everyone to read up on Zul'Aman Bosses, strategies etc at wowwiki and other wow websites and start preparing for this new instance.
Cheers,
Roranden/StillWaters
